Mobility program for foreign students

Interested students initiate the the process of applying for admission when they send the complete application for admission to the area of International Relations ( The application will be analyzed within the deadlines of each call.

Even though interinstitutional mobility agreements may exist, universities may reserve the right to admit students.

The student can not appear at Universidad Caece if he does not have the formal acceptance of the university, so he/she shall plan his trip (purchase of airline tickets, accommodation, etc.) responsibly and once he/she has been admitted. It is desirable that the student interested in the mobility program is averaging his or her career at the sending university.

Procedure and aspects to consider

Choice of subjects to be take: The student requests the area of International Relations,, of Universidad CAECE the syllabuses of the subjects that he/she is interested in taking and requests his/her institution the academic authorization so that, upon his/her return, the subjects taken at Universidad CAECE are recognized by the sending university.

The student is responsible for obtaining the following information from Universidad CAECE: academic calendar, campuses, calls, forms and specific documentation of the Mobility Program.

The costs of transfers, accommodation, travel expenses, and immigration fees shall be paid by the students. Fees pertaining to subjects and other academic charges shall be paid at the sending university.

Universidad CAECE does not inform or perform immigration procedures. The student shall be sent to the Consulates or Embassies of Argentina and request the immigration requirements.

When the student receives the notification from Universidad CAECE accepting his Application for Admission, he/she shall send the digitized documentation detailed below:

  • Complete Application for Admission
  • Valid passport: sheets with the photo and the data about nationality and validity
  • Front photo of 4x4 size
  • Academic history
  • Learning Agreement approved by both institutions
  • Compulsory medical insurance
  • Health insurance for the period of duration of the mobility, with start date before the trip and with end date four days after the end of the mobility program
  • Certificate of Spanish language, in case the Universidad CAECE requires it
  • Once the student has submitted the complete documentation to the Universidad CAECE, attaching it to an email to, Universidad CAECE admits him/her by sending a Letter of Acceptance to the sending university and a copy to the student.

If the student makes changes in the subjects that he/she selected and that were authorized for the mobility program, he/she is responsible for obtaining authorization from the sending university and informing Universidad CAECE so that it can formalize the changes.

To formalize the registration in the Universidad CAECE, the student’s Learning Agreement shall be duly signed by both institutions, and the student must have sent all the requested documentation.

The possibility of working during the stay period in Argentina depends on the kind of visa that the student has. The student or tourist visa does not allow the person to work, so it will be convenient for the student to consult the Consulate of Argentina closest to their place of residence.

About immigration procedures

Once the student has the Letter of Acceptance of the Universidad CAECE, he/she shall complete the visa process in their country of origin. It is the student's responsibility to inform himself/herself of the requirements needed in the Consulate of the Argentine Republic closest to his place of residence.

The Immigration Law of the Argentine Republic admits the entry of the citizens of some countries* with a tourist visa for 90 days; in this period, it is possible to manage the change of the tourist visa to a student visa, with the document that Universidad CAECE gives the student upon arrival, carrying out the procedure in the National Immigration Office.

About the subjects

  1. The student shall comply with 75% attendance to face-to-face classes and show the participation required in the subjects that are complemented with virtual activities.
  2. In order to pass each subject, the current requirements for the period in which it is taken must be fulfilled.
  3. All subjects require students to sit for a final exam, and grades range from 0 to 10. Grades from 4 to 10 are passing grades, and grades from 0 to 3 are failing grades.
  4. The university establishes the periods of final exams indicated in the academic calendar, and students shall sit for final exams during the periods established.
